Please take a few moments to explore our selection of alpaca items some of which we have imported using suppliers who are members of the fair trade group and other items which have been produced here in the UK using fleece from our very own alpacas. I can't begin to tell you how satisfying it is to see a cria born, grow and then see garments produced from it's fleece. You will also find some things that have been designed by me and are only available from Oaklyn Alpacas. These items are marked with a heart.

Alpacas produce one of the world's finest and most luxurious natural fibres. It is sheared from the animal by specialist Shearer’s once a year. Soft as cashmere and warmer, lighter and stronger than wool, it comes in more colours than any other fibre producing animal (approximately 22 shades).This cashmere-like fleece, once reserved for Incan royalty, is now enjoyed by spinners and weavers around the world.
